JOB DESCRIPTION:

RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Regularly inspecting and maintaining electrical systems, including UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems, generators, and power distribution units
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Continuously monitoring electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Conducting regular tests on electrical systems to identify potential issues before they cause failures.
- Ensuring all electrical installations and maintenance work comply with local regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records of all electrical work, including installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Generating detailed reports on the status of electrical systems and any issues encountered or resolved.
- Responding swiftly to electrical emergencies, such as power outages or equipment failure.
- Ensuring backup power systems (e.g., generators and UPS) are functional and ready to take over in case of primary system failure.
- Implementing upgrades to electrical systems and infrastructure to improve efficiency, capacity, and reliability.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Over 5 years’ working experience
- Ability to work late hours and in shifts
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced busy environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven experience in conducting preventive maintenance and troubleshooting Electrical systems.
- Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related program
- Those with MERA Certification , CET certification & OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) certification will have an added advantage
