In the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic, iMoSyS is proud to announce a grant that has been awarded to the company to establish a manufacturing facility for the production of face shields at a large scale.

The new facility will create employment for 50 creative youths with a representation 42% of female staff to support gender equality and women empowerment. The youths will be exposed to digital fabrication technology and will design, manufacture, and distribute the face shields within Malawi and to potential partners in SADC region.

With this grant, the face shields will be available to offer protection to all, at the local and regional level. Furthermore, the the factory will manufacture other items that are usually imported into the country, and the facility will be open to the community for skills development for all ages.
