Apart from that, iMoSyS is amongst a few shortlisted companies that are going to pitch for Global SME award for the most promising solutions from top ICT Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) around the world making innovative use of ICTs with social impact.

According to the ITU World Telecoms website, the best global Small & Medium Enterprise (SME) award is given to the ICT Company in recognition of the excellence in providing innovative solutions with real social impact.

iMoSyS solutions tackle challenges in key areas that are instrumental for the development of a country, namely health, energy, agriculture, water, industrialization and education.

“This forum will enable iMoSyS to exhibit solutions that accelerate social and economic development, as well as network with top ICT companies from around the world and create new business opportunities outside the country,” said Mayamiko Nkoloma, CEO for iMoSyS.

Nkoloma emphasised that participation in ITU Summit exposes the company to international standards.

“The knowledge that will be gained from the forum will enable iMoSyS to provide smart ICT services of international standards to Malawi and other markets that we plan to explore,” he said.

He underlined iMoSyS commitment towards bringing tailor-made ICT products and services that have social impact to Malawians.
